The prayer of the Rosary of Liberation is a prayer for freedom and comfort against the influences that control your life. It focuses on Christ as the liberator in your life and asks for His help to free you from life's influences, including healing, personal healing, bad habits, addictions, and financial failures.

How to Pray the Rosary of Liberation

Opening Prayer and Creed Make the sign of the cross, then place your fingers on the bottom of the cross. Move your fingers to the top of your rosary cross. Recite the Apostles' Creed as in traditional rosary prayer: "I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen."

Prayer of Liberation Then, move your fingers along the beads of your rosary counterclockwise. Substitute the following prayer for each traditional Hail Mary, recited when your fingers reach each of the ten small beads of the rosary: "Jesus, have mercy on me; Jesus, heal me; Jesus, save me; Jesus, free me."

You can perform the liberation prayer on behalf of a loved one suffering from their own negative influences, by modifying the liberation prayer. Each time you say the word "me," say the name of the loved one instead.

Rosary Prayers Continue moving your fingers bead by bead. Instead of each traditional Our Father, recited when you reach each of the larger beads of your rosary, say the following prayer: "If Jesus makes me free, I will be truly free."

Continuation of the Prayer and Conclusion Continue the prayer around your rosary as you would in a traditional prayer. Recite the "Hail Holy Queen" prayer when your fingers reach the rosary medal: "Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy. Hail, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary."
